OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF XIIº BOATS FESTIVAL

On Saturday June 20th at 12:00 will take place in the Galicia Museum, the official presentation of XIIº GALICIAN TRADITIONAL BOATS FESTIVAL

They will participate in the ceremony, the president of the Organizing Committee, President of the FGCMF, the Regional Representative of Rural and Marine, the Secretary General of Culture, the Director of the Arts Center Foundation and Design, and the mayor of Boiro.

Likewise also be present at the event, President of Portos de Galicia, the General Director of Fisheries Unfolding and representatives of the Museum of the Galician People

This event is open to anyone who wants to attend; and in it, it will be presented in summary form the XIIth Boats Festival. The activities on land and at sea, and give you a first glimpse of the participants, which is currently expected to come from Ireland, Britain, France, Catalonia, Basque Country, Cantabria, Malaga, Croatia, Portugal, and Of course Galicia.

We encourage all people linked to the maritime heritage, to attend this presentation that marks the start of the final straight in the preparation of the Festival.

The municipalities that form the Municipalities Association "Arousa North" are to perform some activities to introduce the XIIº BOATS FESTIVAL, Cabo da Cruz from July 9th to 12th.

In the Rianxo Council will unfold on Saturday June 20th, according to the following program:

From 11.00 to 14.00 seaman workshops and sea baptisms (booking required) at the Marina of Rianxo. Information and booking, from June 11th to 18th in the Auditorium.

18.30 Round-talk- symposium: "Maritime Heritage, use and maintain," by Lino Lema, Pablo Carrera, Xerardo Agrafoxo and Adolfo Muíños in the Sea Museum of Rianxo

20:00 Concert "To be a good sailor ...", by the Traditional Music Hall Uned-Senior Rianxo, in the courtyard of the Museo do Mar
